Solar lights provided to Nongstoin villages

NONGSTOIN: The Siloam (a Don Bosco institution) in collaboration with SELCO Incubation Centre, Bangalore lights up Domsaw Village with Solar Lighting where Nongstoin MLA,  Diosstarness Jyndiang inaugurated the solar light project that was benefited fourteen lightless households in the village.
The RRTC have taken up the initiative of lighting up poor marginalized houses of Meghalaya by means of Solar power and have lighted up almost 200 individual houses so far since the project was started and on Wednesday by lighting up 14 houses at Domsaw village, has been created a historic and a major step for the Project.
Speaking in the programme, the Chief Guest D.S. Jyndiang expressed his appreciation on the initiatives  taken by the Siloam and SELCO Incubation centre, Bangalore.
“For many years the villagers of Domsaw Village have struggle a lot without electricity and especially students is hard to study during night time but all the problem has been solved through the solar lights,” he said.
Jyndiang  assured to lend a hand with the people of Domsaw and will try to seek out any assistance through his scheme or through departmental scheme to develop the village especially for road connection.
