Press vehicle attacked

SHILLONG: A press vehicle was damaged when miscreants pelted stones at it in Ri Bhoi on Thrusday morning.
According to the driver, the vehicle belonging to the Sentinel newspaper was attacked at Umwang Gate under Umsning Police Station at 4.30 in the morning when it was on its way to Shillong.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
When contacted, Ri Bhoi SP GD Kharwanlang said that police is inquiring into the incident.
“We asked them to file an FIR but they were in a hurry to go back to Guwahati and left without registering a complaint,” he said.
