Agartala: Tripura Transport Minister Manik Dey has submitted a memorandum to Union Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha seeking expansion of railway services including superfast express trains from here. He submitted the memorandum during the ceremonial programme of the trial run of the first Broad Gauge (BG) passenger rail to Agartala station on Wednesday. The revised land cost for Rs 97.63 crores was also intimated to the ministry”, Dey said.
He added that the state government requested to pay at least 60 per cent of the revised land cost.
