One fatally knocked down
On January 9 at about 6.30 pm, one vehicle (ML-04A-5115) fatally knocked down Wilson Lapasam at Sahsniang village (West Jaintia Hills).
Pedestrians hit
On January 24 at around 6.20 pm, one vehicle (ML-10B-1615) driven by Embhah Lamare knocked down Sbishon Songthiang (38 years) at Pahamrinai (Ri-Bhoi). Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
On January 24 at around 8.10 pm, one Maruti A-Star (ML-05N-8045) knocked down Sambhu Sunar (35 years) at Nongrimbah, Laitumkhrah. As a result, victim sustained injuries and was removed to Nazareth Hospital, Shillong.
Accident
On January 24 at around 8.30 pm, an accident took place between a Maruti local taxi (ML-05F-2657) driven by S.K Kharlukhi (44 years) and a Maruti Alto (ML-05L-2083) driven by Fullman Khongthohrem (30 years) at Mawlai Umjapung. As a result, the driver of local taxi sustained injuries and was admitted at Woodland Hospital, Shillong.
