Hope children’s home for girls inaugurated

Shillong: Rowell Lyngdoh, Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya inaugurated the children’s home for girls at Mawlangwir, Mawkyrwat in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills, R. Lyngdoh and H. M. Shangpliang, Director of Social Welfare on Wednesday
The Girls Home is under the Management of Hope Orphanage Trust, Mawkyrwat.
Speaking on the occasion, Lyngdoh lauded the members of the Hope Orphanage for their efforts in the construction of this building which is meant for the Girls’ orphans of this area.
He also inspired them with a hope that this institution will cater to the needs of the children and society at large.
He therefore wished them with high hopes and expectations that this institution will succeed in their endeavors.
He therefore urged upon all to come forward and contribute towards a good cause.
