Free eye and oral check-up organized

SHILLONG The Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong and Ramakrishna Mission, Cherrapunjee on Sunday, jointly conducted a free eye and dental camp at a remote village of Ichamati, situated near Shella in East Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya.
The Camp started from 10 am at the Ichamati Community Health Centre of Department of Health and Family Welfare in the presence of Swami Nityatmananda of Cherrapunjee Centre and Swami Vedasarananda of Shillong Centre and continued till 4:30 pm.
The Camp comprising of ophthalmologist Dr. Pallab Dewan and dentist Dr. Reshmi Talukdar served 103 and 69 patients respectively.
A Health Awareness Seminar was also organized at the conference hall of the Community Health Centre which was attended by almost hundred villagers.
