Two arrested for stealing livestock

SHILLONG: South West Khasi Hills Police arrested two persons for stealing  livestock from a village.
South West Khasi Hills SP Herbert Lyngdoh said that the two persons, Kularshai Lyngdoh Mawnai and Richard Warjri were arrested from Mawranglang, Mawpatkhrew village and   Jashiar village respectively.
According to Lyngdoh, eight goats were stolen from Jashiar village and nine from Mawranglang.
The accused sold the goats in Nongpoh.
