Replying to a question by Donkupar Roy (UDP) in the Assembly on Tuesday, PWD (Roads) Minister, Sniawbhalang Dhar said that there is no specific target to connect all the villages by road.
To supplementary questions, the PWD Minister said that for those villages which are not eligible to be connected by road as per PMGSY guidelines, the State Government will look to utilize the State Plan or other resources to construct the roads.

To a separate question by Titosstarwell Chyne (UDP), Forest Minster Prestone Tynsong said that all the cement plants have obtained environment clearance. However, only the cement plants setup after 1980 on forest land require forest clearance and applications for forest clearance by six companies are under process.
