Actor Ben Affleck, who     stars as Batman in     Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, says he has ‘too many complexes’ to sort through.
Aked where his excitement for the role comes from — his little boy hero complex or his adult hero complex — Affleck couldn’t decide, reports a website.
“I think I tapped into equal measure of my adult geekness and kid excitement. Every day there was something to kind of geek out about. It was exciting every day,” Affleck said.
He explained that he and audiences continue to be drawn to the character because Batman is “a guy who on the one hand is powerful and exciting and can do things we all wish we could do but is also still a human being and struggling with his own vulnerabilities”.
Affleck’s personal interest in the Caped Crusader dates back to his childhood in Boston.
“There is a store called Million Year Picnic, which is still open I think, which is where I bought my first Frank Miller comic book,” he recalled.
Directed by Zack Snyder, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The movie is scheduled to release on March 25. (IANS)
