Driver’s body found on NH

SHILLONG: The body of a driver from Karimganj, Assam was found with his throat slit on the National Highway at Dulongnar village in Ri-Bhoi District on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Jamal Uddin (31).
Ri-Bhoi district police chief G.D. Kharwanlang said, “Miscreants hired a vehicle and took away the vehicle after killing its driver.”
The body has been handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
