Training prog
The State Resource Centre, NEHU, which is providing resource support to the State government in the literacy programme ‘Saakshar Bharat’, in collaboration with National Literacy Mission Authority, Union Ministry of HRD, is organising a three day training for resource persons on legal literacy from April 19-21.
Office bearers
The North Eastern Hill University Non Teaching Staff Association, Tura Unit, elected new office bearers including Rongsenthemjen Ao as vice president, George MA as secretary and S.D. Sangma as treasurer, besides eight executive members.
Death condoled
Members of the Frontier Chamber of Commerce have expressed sorrow and grief at the demise of Ramgopal Runthala who passed away in Delhi on April 16. Runthala had been associated with the Chamber for 45 years.
