Two arrested

SHILLONG: South West Khasi Hills police has arrested two persons including a former ANVC cadre on extortion charge. The South West Khasi Hills district police chief Herbert Lyngdoh informed that police apprehended one hardened criminal Jacob  K Sangma of Borsora for demanding money from a businessman .  On the basis of the lead provided by Sangma, police arrested his accomplice   Wanshempang Snaitang,   a  former ANVC  cadre  and recovered one bolt action type shot gun.
