Disaster management training at MLCU

SHILLONG: With the objective of ensuring proper safety measures and also to train the staff and students on disaster management, the department of Environment and Traditional Ecosystems of Martin Luther Christian University, on Friday organized a training of trainers on disaster management (fire safety) for faculty representatives of NSS unit, faculty and students of the department of Environment and Traditional Ecosystems and also the non-teaching staff of the university including the security guards, on the university campus.
The training was deputed by the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Fire and Emergency Services.
