Silver Jubilee

As part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations, the Madan Laban Youth Welfare Organisation will conduct an All-Raid Laban Inter-School drawing, poetry-writing, quiz competitions and basketball final on April 30 at St. John’s Higher-Secondary School, Laban.
Khasi literature
The Khasi Authors’ Society will observe the 175th year to mark the birth of Khasi literature. The year-long observance will begin on September 10 and culminate on September 16, 2017.
