Agri official in police net

SHILLONG: The agricultural official of North Garo Hills I. B. Talang was arrested by police on Monday for the alleged theft of government property . The pressure groups from North Garo Hills had detected the theft after he was caught red handed by them on Sunday when he was travelling in a vehicle with several materials belonging to the agriculture department which were meant to be transported to Jowai from Resubelpara. Materials like four rollers of barbed wire (fencing), maize seeds, survey materials, PVC water supply pipes, sacks of rice seeds, agriculture field wheels were seized by the pressure groups.
