JOWAI:  Khliehriat MLA, Justine Dkhar has clarified that he has no connection with one Forcast Phawa who was allegedly involved in the illegal transportation of coal from East Jaintia Hills. “I was shocked on seeing a news report that linked my name with the unknown person (Phawa) of Cham Cham village,” the MLA said on Friday.
“The accusation that I am his close friend and the person is free from all liabilities when it came to transportation of coal is totally baseless,” Dkhar added.
The legislator also reiterated his willingness to work for all sections of people.
Sources added that Prakash Phawa was wrongly mentioned as Forcast Phawa in the report. During conversation with this correspondent, the MLA said that though Prakash Phawa or Forcast, he never encouraged illegal activities in transportation of coal.
