Stabbed
On May 17 at about 6.30 pm, one Sumarstar Lyngdoh stabbed Shining Lyngkhoi (29) with a sharp weapon at Polo, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong.
Matter is under enquiry.
Theft
On May 17 morning, an unknown miscreants stole one Maruti car (ML-05B-0955) belonging to Raja L Nongpiur from Oxford Hill, Kench’s Trace, Shillong.
On May 16 around 6.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05M-0502) belonging to Marco S Nongdhar from Lummawbah, Upper Shillong.
On May 15, unknown miscreants stole one TV set from the house of Kunal Jena at Umkdait, Nongmynsong, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
Detained
On May 16 around 9 am, Police detained two coal laden trucks (ML-06-4431), driven by Fullmoon Umiong (27) and (ML-06-4432) driven by Ronney Umiong (29) at Mawiong Rim, Shillong.
Matter is under enquiry.
Attacked
On the night of May 15, unknown miscreants vandalized one Honda car (ML-05J-6020) belonging to Kajir Tisopi at Langkyrding, Shillong. As a result, the vehicle was damaged. Matter is under enquiry.
Accident
On May 15 at about 7.30 pm, an accident took place between one Maruti car (ML-04A-3339) driven by Robert Shullai (19) and one Maruti Swift D’zire tourist taxi (ML-05M-9236) driven by Walter Kharpati (23) at Pomura, NH-44 (EKH).
As a result, driver and one occupant of the Maruti car sustained injuries and were shifted to Dr. H Gordon Robert Hospital, Shillong.
FIR lodged
Shidalin Phawa lodged a complaint that on July 13, 2015, she sold her Hyundai Eon car (ML-04C-1055) to one Thiyam Anand Kumar Singh of Chanchipur village, Imphal, East (MN) at the rate of Rs. 5,62,800/-, out of which the purchaser paid Rs. 1,50,000/-, but failed to pay the remaining amount till date.
