Engineer questioned on power failure

SHILLONG: The District Consumer Disputes Rederessal Forum has directed the AEE Mawryngkneng,   Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited to give appropriate answers about power failure at Kynton-U-mon, Nongkrem last month.
The village faced power failure from May 16-21 forcing one resident Joannes JTL Lamare to approach District Consumer Disputes Rederessal Forum. In the First hearing held on June 9, the MePDCL, was represented by the AEE Mawryngkneng. In the hearing, the court directed the AEE to give appropriate answers on the next hearing fixed for June 30.
