Leaders adopt resolution to commence peace talks

Aizawl: A resolution has been adopted on Friday by the leaders of village council, NGOs and political parties,demanding immediate commencement of peace talks between the state government and Hmar People’s Convention (Democratic)militants. The resolution was adopted at a function, held at Vanbawng village to celebrate the 30th anniversary of signing of the historic Mizo Peace Accord recently. (PTI)
