TURA: Two NGOs from Williamnagar – the Garo Students’ Union (GSU) and the Federation for A’chik Freedom (FAF) – have expressed disappointment over the ‘unrelenting attitude of Chief Minister Mukul Sangma’ towards their request for revocation of the transfer of East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, CVD Diengdoh.
According to the NGOs, Diengdoh had been responsible for many commendable achievements in the district one of which was the conduct of as many as three to four selection exams in a year by the District Selection Committee (DSC).
“News of his (Diengdoh) transfer has shocked us and the general public,” the NGOs said.
