SHILLONG: The State Council of Science, Technology & Environment (SCSTE), Meghalaya organised the Master Resource Person’s Training Programme for National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) from July 5 to 8 at the Youth Hostel Conference Hall here.
Participants representing Consortium of Resource Persons (CoRPs), green volunteers from the blocks, NYK volunteers and project associates from MBDA attended the programme which saw brainstorming sessions under the theme for this year’s Congress, “Science & Technology & Innovation for Sustainable Development”.
Under NCSC programme, youngsters between the age group of 10-17 years can undertake a small field oriented research project in their immediate surrounding related to the theme and present it at the District, State and National-level.
The SCSTE, Meghalaya has invited all children to participate in the programme and those interested can register directly at www.ncsc.co.in or contact SCSTE for details.
