Seven ASAK cadres nabbed

SHILLONG:  North Garo Hills police have arrested as many as seven A’chik Songna An’pachakgipa Kotok  (ASAK) cadres in last one week.
North Garo Hills district police chief Dr. Raghavendra Kumar informed that police first arrested two ASAK cadres — Man’jeng Sangma (18) and Nilkan Momin(21), when they came to collect money from a person whom they had  served demand note at Chima A’pal.
Based on their leads, police on Friday arrested the gang leader Sengkal Ch Momin.
Later on the same day, police arrested two more cadres of the outfit  Sengrim Sangma (19) and Mailush G Momin.
According to Kumar, police on Saturday arrested two more ASAK cadres Ringrang Sangma and Chidam Momin. They belong to the group led by Sengkal Ch Momin, he said.
