House burgled
On September 3 at around 1 am, unknown miscreants broke into the house of one W.M Kharbudon at Dongkamon, Nongmynsong and stole a bag containing cash Rs. 12,000.
Staff quarter gutted in fire
On September 2 at about 12.30 pm, a fire broke out in the staff quarter of M/S Donbok Service Station at Pynursla (EKH). As a result, one Ker Khonglam (30) sustained burn injuries and was shifted to CHC Pynursla. The quarter was completely gutted and loss of property has been estimated at around Rs. 7,75,600.
One drowns
On September 2 at about 1.30 pm, one Dame Paswett (22) drowned while fishing at Umiew River in Umtyngar (EKH). His body was reecovered on September 3.
Assault
On September 1 at around 3 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Bahunlang Sohliya (32) at MCCL, Mawmluh (EKH), causing injuries to him. Victim was shifted to CHC Sohra and later referred to Civil Hospital Shillong.
