15-year-old gang-raped in WKH

SHILLONG: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl was gang-raped by six unidentified miscreants at Myriaw village (WKH) on September 11. It is yet to be known if any arrest has been made in this case.
Meanwhile, on September 14 a complaint was lodged by a 17-year-old girl that her uncle had been molesting and raping her from 2010 to 2012. The girl said that her uncle, Lampher Kharpran (50 yrs) had committed the crime at his residence at Jaiaw Laitdom, Shillong.
In another incident, on September 13, a 13-year-old boy sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl at Mawlynrei, Nonglum (East Khasi Hills).
Another rape incident was reported from Garo Hills where a woman from Songkopara village under Tura PS (WGH) lodged a complaint on September 8 that one Shame P Marak raped her daughter in a forest near the village and threatened her with dire consequences.
