School building inaugurated at Langpih

NONGSTOIN: Leader of Opposition Donkupar Roy on Friday inaugurated the school building of Raidmynsaw UP School at Langpih in West Khasi Hills.
The school building was constructed under the Chief Minister’s Special Rural Development Fund (CMSRDF) at a cost of Rs 5 lakh.
The function was chaired by H. Samakha, Sirdar of Hima Raidmynsaw, in the presence of the School Managing Committee, Rambrai legislator K.P Pangniang and Sohra legislator Titosstarwell Chyne, among others.
P. Nongphud, Secretary of the Hima, handed over a memorandum to the Opposition leader pleading for up gradation of the UP school to the higher secondary level and sanction for a health sub-centre at Langpih.
