NPP urges Govt to boost tourism in North Garo Hills

SHILLONG: NPP leader from North Garo Hills Rupert Momin has urged the State government to give special attention to the district to boost tourism so that the young unemployed people of the region will be benefited  from this. In a statement issued to the media, Momin said that several water-falls have remained  in accessible to the people due to lack of road communication.
Momin further pointed out that in the absence of proper market within the district and state, the farmers have to sell many agricultural products in Assam especially in Darangiri, Dudnoi and Krishnai under Goalpara district in Assam.
