SHILLONG: The Meghalaya State Commission for Women is upset over the recurring incidents of crime against women and children.
The Commission’s chairperson, T Phanbuh, on Monday condemned the incidents.
In view of the seriousness of this problem, the Commission will conduct a series of programmes, including public hearings in designated districts in collaboration with respective district authorities and the State Child Rights Commission to provide a platform for all aggrieved women and children to come forward to seek redressal of their grievances.
