Shillong: Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre distributed certificates to nearly 700 of its trainees during its 68th convocation ceremony held on Saturday. Four students were presented with computer sets while scholarships were also awarded to 21 of its meritorious students.
The trainees have completed various programmes on subjects such as computer, english and first time in the institute, Khasi and Hindi. They also received training on soft skills to enhance their employability.
S K Jain, IPS, Director General of Police, Meghalaya, who was the chief guest at the function urged the students to use their education and skills to elevate their professional and personal life.
