Man held in city for catching stray dogs

SHILLONG: The Stray Animal Rescue Society in the city apprehended a 39- year-old man for attempting to catch street dogs. Maitri Dam, a member of the Stray Animal Rescue Society, lodged a complaint against Ropeklien Hmar for attempting to catch street dogs at Demthring in the city ‘for consumption’. One gunny bag, a measuring stone and a wooden stick were seized from his possession.
