SSA teachers to approach Centre

SHILLONG: The importance of uniting to work for the welfare of SSA teachers and a need to focus on the Mission Regularization of SSA Teachers was highlighted during the meeting of Sarva ShikshaAbhiyan (SSA) Teachers of Garo Hills in collaboration with Meghalaya SSA School Association – Central Body on Saturday.
Held at Holy Family Higher Secondary School Auditorium at Rongjeng, East Garo Hills, Aristotle  C.  Rymbai, president of MSSASA – central body said that the teachers are to come into unity and not to blame each other.
H. M.Marbaniang, general secretary of MSSASA-central body spoke of the pending demands and progress of the 4th Teachers and also shared the future steps to fight against the genuine grievance.
Many blocks like Tikrikilla, Dadanggre, Gambegre, Gausapara, Baghamara, Rongara, Chokpot and Rongjeng expressed their willingness to join and to form the MSSASA unit in Garo Hills.
After prolonged discussion, the house resolved to form the MSSASA unit as MSSASA-All Garo Hills Unit with Mathias D. Shira as president, Saintsen K. Sangma, Forster M.Marak, SanjitMarak as vice president, Sengphan K Marak as general secretary besides other.
Rymbai also declared that MSSASA-central body has resolved to go to the Delhi on November 15 to discuss the grievances of SSA Teachers of Meghalaya to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi.
