Chokpot contractors submit memo to CM

TURA: The Chokpot Area Contractors’ Association (CACA) recently met Chief Minister Mukul Sangma and urged him to facilitate the release of their pending bills before Christmas.
During their meeting, the CACA also urged Sangma to direct concerned authorities to float tenders for different projects at Chokpot Sub Division, Baghmara Division etc., so that local contractors are benefited.
Other demands include replacing timber bridges under Chokpot Sub Division with RCC bridges, shifting the Sub Divisions Office of Water Resources to Chokpot etc.
