SHILLONG: The Counselling Psychology Department of Martin Luther Christian University on Thursday spread Christmas joy among the children of God’s Dream Home, an orphanage run by the Now Generation Outreach Revival Assembly, Full Gospel Fellowship Church.
The children of the home were taken to Golf Links where they partook in games, a storytelling session and other events organised by the MLCU department. There were gifts too. The orphanage at Lumshyiap has 26 members, 17 of whom are boys, between the age group of 10 months and 18 years. The students and faculty members donated clothes, toys and other items to the home.
The orphanage was started in March in a rented building but there are plans for a permanent setup.
