Warjri supports youth counselling for better future

SHILLONG: Health and Family Welfare Minister Roshan Warjri underlined the need for counselling for the youth for their better future.Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Annual Youth Week in the Wahthapbroo locality on December 31, the Minister expressed concern over the growing number of youths falling into bad habits.”We should not condemn such youths but give them support by taking them to a counsellor,” Warjri said. She lauded the dorbar of Wahthapbroo for recognising meritorious students. The elderly people of the locality were also felicitated.
Marathon, dancing and drawing competitions and arm-wrestling were among the other events to mark the week-long programme.
