SHILLONG: Raids have been conducted in Ri-Bhoi to trace the whereabouts of absconding MLA Julius Dorphang, who is alleged to be involved in the rape of a minor in two separate incidents.
When contacted, East Khasi Hills SP M. Kharkrang said raids were conducted but no arrests were made so far.
Replying to a query on other pending cases with Madanrting police, in which two clients were supposed to be arrested, the SP said the police have registered three cases.
