Money recovered
On January 4, one Vikram Thapa recovered one polythene bag containing cash Rs. 68,800/- in Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 100 denominations from a dustbin near ex-Servicemen office at Jhalupara, Shillong.
Theft
Medal Suchiang, headman of Barato village (WJH), lodged a complaint that on January 3, five persons, Balawanbiang Liam, Abraham Phawa, Wansuk Pale, Resharge Dhar and Neh Dhar stole diesel oil from a vehicle (ML-05B-7684).
On January 3 around 6 pm, unknown miscreants stole one cell-phone belonging to one Nadeem at Police Bazar, Shillong.
V.S. Suhag lodged a complaint that on December 19, 2016 around 5.30 pm, unknown miscreants broke into his house at Satsang Vihar Road, New Kench’s Trace and stole one cell-phone.
Assault
Bittu Fernandez lodged a complaint that on January 3 around 9 am, unidentified persons went to his residence at Mynkre (EJH), assaulted him and snatched his wallet containing EPIC and driving licence.

Berjilius Muksor, headman of Tahkhniang village (WJH) lodged a complaint that on January 3 around 4 pm, one Erly Panoh disturbed a funeral procession in the village.

Firstday Diengngan lodged a complaint that on January 2, while the village dorbar was in progress at Sdaddkhar village (WKH), one Eveningwell Diengngan threatened him with dire consequences.
Ojaniu Rabon of Bhain village (WJH) lodged a complaint that on December 12, 2016, two persons, Ioowanki Rabon and Manka Rabon threatened the complainant and his family members.
Missing
Joyful Lyngdoh of Khliehriat East (EJH) lodged a complaint that on December 24, 2016, his driver Hammyllin Talang went missing along with his Maruti car (ML-11-1158).
