Boy dies after falling from truck

SHILLONG: A boy died after he accidentally slipped while hanging on to passing trucks at a village in West Jaintia Hills on January 11.
Police said that the incident took place when Sniawheimon Tyngkan along with his friends were playing on the road and hanging on to passing trucks and he accidentally slipped and fell down from one truck (ML-04-6433) driven by Julanki Niang and was fatally run over by the same truck.
Daplangshwa Tyngkan of Khatkasla lodged an FIR.
