SHILLONG: Police in Baghmara (SGH) arrested a senior GNLA cadre identified as Teleson G Momin alias Taliba (Bonipa) on Saturday. Momin had been residing at Kolapara area near international border for the last six months. Police said that he was facilitating the cross border movement of the militants to Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, at around 4 pm on Sunday, an encounter took place between police and GNLA. However, no casualty was reported. Police recovered GNLA demand notes from the site.
