Accidents across state

On February 3 at about 2.30 pm, one Bolero Pick-up (ML-05L-5606) driven by Dabia Marngar (22) met with an accident at Mawlai, Mawtawar, Shillong. As a result, the driver and two occupants sustained injuries and were removed to Hospital.
On February 2 at about 3 pm, an accident took place between one local taxi (ML-06-5779) and one motorcycle (AS-01BK-4311) ridden by Aiborlin Lyngdoh at Nongkasen in West Khasi Hills. As a result, the rider sustained injuries and was removed to Military Hospital, Shillong.
On February 2, one local taxi (ML-06-8033) collided with a truck (ML-13-2701) at Umjaru village in West Khasi Hills.  As a result, one occupant of the local taxi sustained injuries and was removed to Hospital.
In another incident, a pick-up truck loaded with bricks overturned when it slipped while travelling on a muddy road. The incident happened at Lummawsiang in Mawlai Mawtawar, Shillong on February 3 at about 2:51 pm. In the incident, three people including the driver were injured. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting Dabia Marngar (22), Paul Marak (20) and Remdor Synrem (31) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
On February 2 at about 7:57 pm, a helper of a truck sustained injuries after he fell off from the vehicle while it was still in motion. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mawryngkneng helped in shifting the helper, Ganesh Das (12) to Mawryngkneng PHC. The incident happened at Umkhen on the Shillong by-pass road under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills District.
On February 2 at about 6:55 pm, an auto rickshaw travelling towards the market place at Rongrangre from Betasingh drove off the road and overturned after it developed some technical snag at Rongrangre under Betasingh Block, South West Garo Hills District. A passenger, Notmi Sangma (36) sustained injuries and has been shifted to Ampati CHC by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Ampati.
