State teachers to attend workshop in Ireland

SHILLONG: Teachers from Meghalaya will participate in a five day workshop in Dublin, Ireland which will start from February 6 to February 10.
Six teachers from Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers’ Association (KJDSTA) are Fabian R. Syiem, Polycarpus Warlarpih, Joyceline Mary Kharumnuid, Raynold Basaiawmoit, E.D. Nongsiang and Jona Goswami.
The purpose of the visit is to observe how schools in Ireland functions. The expenditure will be borne by Teachers Union from Ireland.
