Paul for transparency to tackle corruption

NONGPOH: Transparency and accountability are the main tools to fight corruption in politics that is rampant in this country. Stating this during a panel discussion on the theme “Youth, Politics and Corruption”, on the USTM campus at 9 Mile, Khanapara, UDP legislator Paul Lyngdoh said that corruption stalls development and cannot be taken lightly.
Lyngdoh also shared with the young audience his political journey from being a student leader to his entry into politics.
His views were echoed by MLCU VC RG Lyngdoh, who was also among the panelists.
Political leaders and others from Assam also took part in the discussion.
