Dialysis unit for underprivileged

SHILLONG: A dialysis unit will be inaugurated in the city on Wednesday.
The dialysis unit is meant for those from the economically backward section, who would now be required to pay only one-fourth of prevailing charges in private hospitals.
The dialysis unit, which will be at Children’s Hospital in Pohksheh, will be dedicated to the people of Meghalaya by the State’s new Governor Banwarilal Purohit.
This is a project of Rotary club of Shillong which is currently celebrating its Diamond jubilee.
The governor will also address a function on this occasion.
