Traffic arrangements for KJP Synod

JOWAI:  In view of the KJP Synod Mihngi to be held at Ummulong on Sunday, all  vehicles coming from East Khasi Hills will be diverted from Moodymmai junction and shall park at Lummynso, Hun ‘Shylla area. The exit point will be from the same route.
All light vehicles coming from East/West Jaintia Hills will be diverted from CHC Moodymmai junction and shall park at Thadsamynting, Lum-Walieh and others, whereas, heavy vehicles shall park at Lum-Challam.
All light vehicles coming from Nartiang and adjoining areas shall park at Iaw-Pynsein, whereas, heavy vehicles will be diverted via La-Ngi junction and shall park at Lum Challam. The exit point will be from the same route. No vehicles will be allowed to cross NH-44.
All vehicles coming from Tyrshang, Lyrnai areas will be diverted through Lad Chutwakhu and shall park at Madan Skul Catholic. No-entry of heavy vehicles will be in force from 7 am to 7 pm.
All VIPs, those with car pass and choir will pass from CHC Moodymmai junction and shall park at Lum Thangbru and exit through the same route.
