Liquor raid conducted by Jowai police

Jowai: On Friday night, vice raids were conducted by Jowai police and they seized around 20ltrs of IMFL liquor and around 12 ltrs of beer from the possession of Roning Nongbri and Lieh Phawa. They were selling it illegally in a shop at Wah gate, right next to the National Highway.
The duo are husband and wife.They have been running the illegal business for quite some time.
Despite the shop being raided by the police many times, their business still continued.
Accordingly, a  non FIR case vide Jowai PS NON FIR CASE NO.1-3/III/17 u/s 53 (1)(a) ME act has been initiated against them.
