Interaction programme between police and PLV held

SHILLONG: Members of Para Legal Volunteers (PLV) from different parts of the state visited Sadar Police Station to learn about how they function as per the programme of the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority, Shillong.
The volunteers were apprised about the various provisions of Law and their role in assisting the police in various cases.
More importantly their role towards the society taking law into account was stressed upon and the PLV were requested to spread the message when they go back to the field.
