HYC, DMHO conduct free health camp

SHILLONG: Hynniewtrep Youths’ Council (HYC) Pyndensohsaw Nongthymmai area unit in collaboration with District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) had conducted awareness cum free medical health camp at Pyndensohsaw village on March 25.
Issues like cleanliness, drugs and alcoholic abuse and early marriage were discussed.
Resource persons were GT Passah I/c MMU (immunization and adolescent), E. Khongwar, BEE Mawsynram Block (Environmental Sanitation and Malaria) and M.Diengdoh I/c  Mawsynram CHC.
S. Kharlyngdoh, president of the area unit, expressed concern as the health centre is situated at remote areas giving undue trouble to patients.
