No lawyer for Dorphang

SHILLONG: No one appeared on behalf of raped accused legislator Julius Dorphang during a hearing in the sessions court on Wednesday. The court marked the defence lawyers as absent.
Public prosecutor I.C Jha said if no one appears for Dorphang in the next hearing, the court may refer the matter to a committee that will arrange for legal aid to the MLA.
