Assault
On April 6, unidentified miscreants assaulted BNC Hamlet Pasling of IRBN with sharp weapons at Pyndengshnong under Mawsynram PS (EKH). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was admitted at Civil Hospital Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.

Claim for cattle
On April 4, residents of Karukol village (SGH) detected two trucks (AS-18C-3048) and (AS-01C-7572) loaded with eighteen and twenty heads of cattle, respectively. Later, the cattle were seized at Baghmara PS. In the meantime, one Abi Ch Momin of Machangpani, Dalu (WGH) appeared at Baghmara PS and claimed that the cattle belong to him. Matter is under enquiry.

Accident
On April 3, one vehicle (AS-01FC-2526) driven by Md. Mokshep Alom knocked down Kanti Marak (28 yrs) at Balsrigittim (SGH). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Baghmara. Later, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

Theft
On March 31, unknown miscreants stole one laptop computer belonging to Shri Zefir G Momin from his residence at Balsrigittim, Williamnagar (EGH).
On March 29, four unidentified miscreants armed with knives looted Rs. 60,000/- from one Sunam Uddin Khan, driver of truck (AS-11AC-0409), while he was repairing his truck at Mawpun, Wahiajer (WJH).

Threatened
On March 28, Abul Kasem Sikh, Branch Manager, Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd., Tikrikilla Branch (WGH), lodged a complaint that he received one SMS, wherein the unknown sender demanded Rs. 20 lakh from him and his staff and also threatened them with dire consequences.
