JACATAM threatens govt

SHILLONG: The Joint Action Committee of All Teachers’ Association of Meghalaya (JACATAM) will stage hunger strike on Wednesday if the Cabinet fails to approve 100 per cent hike in salary of ad hoc teachers at primary and upper primary schools by Tuesday.
The agitation will be held near All India Radio, Shillong, starting from 11 am.
