Shillong woman wins pageant

SHILLONG: Apeksha Agarwal Nawalgaria, who was born and brought up in Shillong and is currently residing in Mumbai, won the title of Mrs India Mumbai International at an event that took place on April 22. Celebrity choreographer Satyan Babla and former Femina Miss India and actor Karishma Modi were among several others who graced the occasion.
She also won the subtitle of the ‘Most beautiful body’.
Apeksha will now be representing Mumbai for Mrs India on May 20 and will go on to represent India in the USA in August.
Apeksha was a student of Loreto Convent and is the daughter of businessman Anand Agarwal and Sulochana Agarwal of Police Bazar.
