New born rescued from Auto rickshaw in Agartala

Agartala: Police launched an investigation into the recovery of a new born child from an auto-rickshaw near Agartala govt medical college (agmc) on wednesmorning, however, nobody was arrested in connection with the case so far. Police said some people first notice the baby wrapped with clothes in the back passenger seat of the auto, which is usually used for carrying luggage inside in the auto-rickshaw standing near the hospital. There was no driver. They went forward to hire the auto and found it. Later, police rescued the baby and shifted to the hospital. The doctors attending the child said that he was abandoned soon after birth. The child was reported to be otherwise, healthy and perfect according medical report, police stated. Police is looking for the mother who left the child behind. (Uni)
